Danne D:

I am fascinated with the fact that some dude in Germany recognized that murderer from Canada. "Hey, you look like that dude from 4000 miles away." How does one manage to do that?
  6:08pm
Phillip in San Antonio:

Anything about the Hackensack, Nj. incident?

some speculation here at work that cannibalism is extension of vampire craze, i.e. next thing we'll see is a series of angsty novels about sexy teen cannibals
  6:12pm
Danne D:

Awesome - everyone blocking the camera shot on nasa. Of a projection of a telescope.
  6:13pm
Mike East:

@bennett4senate - the scary thing is that I can totally see that happening. God save us all.

Phillip in San Antonio:

Its funny listening to some people getting worked up about The Walking Dead. So many people want a zombie apocalypse so badly to happen but in no time these fools would be dead. They would definitely take back their air conditioned bedroom with video games, cheetos, and reality shows if it all went down. They would piss they're pants! Sure they'd be happy to not have a DEAD end job, but they would certainly inherit a new job called harvesting your own food.
  6:24pm
Mike East:

man, babies are dumb.
  6:26pm
DPCD:

Well, Pearl Buck pointed out how those babies are also edible.
  6:26pm
00g00:

What absolute bullshit....
  6:27pm
Danne D:

Btw the sun officially has a hole in it on the bottom left.
  6:29pm
Mike East:

Damnit, Danne D! You just made me look at the sun...now I'm seeing spots everywhere!
  6:29pm
Danne D:

Anybody else getting hungry?
  6:30pm
Phillip in San Antonio:

Think they will create a cannibal ride at Six Flags?
  6:31pm
DPCD:

Don't cannibal tribals do this to assume the powers of their foes? You need better experts!
  6:32pm
Mike East:

Anyone seen Cannibal! The Musical?
  6:32pm
Phillip in San Antonio:

This topic does remind me of the incident back in '08 about the Greyhound bus passenger who decapitated his seat mate without flinching.
  6:34pm
Danne D:

@Mike East - Clouds get in your eyes?

Btw, I worry about cannibalism at FMU. Exhibit a:

  6:35pm
Danne D:

The experts sound like they are live from someone's bathroom.
  6:35pm
kenny:

I saw an interview with Jeff Dahmer and his dad, and his dad said he had the same urges his son had but didn't act on them. So maybe it ain't freudian... maybe its genetics.
  6:36pm
00g00:

Under the infantile theory society we would be over run with orally fixated flesh eating cannibals... Daumer was persuasive development disordered not otherwise specified. The idea its the motheres fault is ridiculusly outdated. Contributive maybe not causative.
  6:38pm
Danne D:

This lady scares me.
  6:38pm
PRAETORIAN:

A defective biological unit, is just that.
Both Flora and Fauna can be defective, physically in appearance, internally, chemically.

Regardless of the source unless YOU have experiences these people ( reading books about them ) you cannot begin to grasp the depths of their defectiveness. At some point they MUST BE REMOVED to protect the Citizenry.

PS Wrong is wrong, don't make excused, show some responsibility.
  6:38pm
Danne D:

She has a different sense of finger food than I do.
  6:41pm
listener jimbo:

Cue the torch-bearing mob!
  6:43pm
Danne D:

not a symbol according to Catholic Church - transubstantiation.
  6:43pm
Phillip in San Antonio:

Oh from last week Chris, after i called about the "You've just won" scam, I "won" a 1000 dollar Best Buy gift card and a 4 night vacation stay.
  6:43pm
kenny:

Sorry... I just don't buy the professors oral fixation explanation, but I think its funny how she laughed off the genetics idea. Snobs with degrees = closed minded.
  6:44pm
Danne D:

Btw, side note. Today is the 44th anniversary of the RFK assassination. :(
  6:44pm
Danne D:

Congrats Phillip!
  6:45pm
Scuttle:

Super-ego yo
  6:45pm
Phillip in San Antonio:

Hahaha, good one Danne D!
  6:47pm
PRAETORIAN:

Religion is not a requirement for Morality. Religion does not define Morality.

Name just one action that has not been committed by a Religious person in the name of a God.

Name one action that is not Wrong or Immoral unless one looks through the lens of a Religion.

Man has innate Morals even where Religion is not present.
  6:48pm
kenny:

Chris... you mean you DON'T believe in the SUPREME SANTA?
  6:50pm
PRAETORIAN:

Opps ...except of course Child Molestation by a duly sanctioned Religious Agent as in : the Vatican does not view as Immoral, Illegal, or without Victims.
  6:50pm
Scuttle:

If we had innate morals we wouldnt have to put up barriers to murder, incest, etc.
  6:50pm
Lucy:

The Miami cannibal was a very religious man, suposedly carried a bible with him everywhere.
  6:51pm
Danne D:

Religion pretty much was the only way a topic that started out with Cannibalism could turn, right?
  6:51pm
PRAETORIAN:

In many societies without Western "Religion" Murder as well as Incest are typically taboo.
  6:53pm
PRAETORIAN:

Munching down on a cracker or Eucharist is duly approved, directed, and endorced by religion = symbolic cannibalism.
  6:53pm
Wayne K:

Check out www.HeartFireSound.com
Tisziji Munoz is a great unknown electric guitarist as well as a genius Spiritual teacher who has so much to offer!
  6:55pm
Scuttle:

Sacrifices to the Gods=substitute for the murder of the primal father?
  6:55pm
DPCD:

I like this Praetorian lady. The Pilgrims did actually kill a kid for having sex with a sheep. That was one religion born in the USA but it also got us immigrants going on the rampage to wipe out the Native Americans who came earlier from Asia.
  6:57pm
Danne D:

SCREW THE NETS.
  6:58pm
listener jimbo:

DPCD: Most of the inhabitants of North America had been killed by disease by the time the Pilgrims got here.
  7:00pm
Danne D:

Have a good night folks :)
Thanks for an interesting show as always, Chris!
  7:01pm
...:

you should have played timothy.
