Us comment critters can use a week off now and again Chris, no sweat.

Mike East:

I had lots of comments last week, but couldn't call. Can't call today either, too busy at work.

Mike East:

I didn't know there was a Led Zeppelin resurgance, though I did see a guy reading a magazine on the bus the other day with the picture of Zeppelin outside the jet that I remember hanging on my wall in high school when I got an issue of Guitar World with a poster in it.

I'm a pretty fast typer.

And THAT is why all us comment leavers are afraid to call... we like Chris and don't want to piss him off!

I think Dread Zeppelin has helped the resurgence.

they are a bunch of plagiarists

Andrew Waterloo:

No offence Greg, but people like him are the reason for the cynicism toward bands like Zep, and Floyd. That's really what it comes down to. I discovered Led Zep when I was 17 and continued discovering things. Then I'd be excited about these new discoveries and end up in a conversation about why Led Zep is greatest band ever.

Chris, your show on The Who last summer was one for the ages. I really loved it.
LZ, another big commercial product form across the pond, were great, too.
I first heard them in 7th grade Biology class at St Michaels. Our very liberal teacher let John Miler play "Houses" while we disected frogs. The music shocked me, honestly, being an innocent farm kid. I had to take it seriously then, because the mustachioed bio teacher also gave us a blatant sex ed series that same year. No details left undescribed.
Bless you, wherever you are now, Mz Lanthorpe.
