	6:47pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63: ...seems to me ProgRock a quite legit Gateway into 'Serious Music' - be it Roy Wood or other - & I find it really interesting how Soundtrack has become a mighty Genre unto itself. Anybody says they 'don't like Classical Music' - I challenge them to think of the film music they've been moved by w/out consciuosly realizing it. 'Forbidden Planet' has a way kewl soundtrack! SciFi surely a gateway into Avant - just as visually it took Surrealist images completely out of context, but in a way that speaks to folk as Naive Metaphor...

We were like, "OK, so basically ELP is some of the more dramatic 20th-century classical stuff played at maximum speed with just way too much ostinato :-) Obviously, it's all about the energy, guys."
