everything all right in there?

Everything's fine. Except for the bodies of the dead rising from their graves to feast on the living.

Jersey City residents are probably out voting for a new mayor just now.

Got several used tires for sale. Not much tread on em but might make excellent swings for the kids or use in an obstacle course. $1 each or barter for some laying hens or pullets. Or a goat ready for slaughter. Roosters ok.

Bevare of the big green dragon that sits on your doorstep. He eats little boys! Puppy dog tails and big, fat snails! Bevare! Take care! Bevare!

Trees...all well and good until pesky insects like the emerald ash borer come in and destroy them.

Would like to post an event. Bingo Saturday Nite. At the Box Springs Church of Ah, Christ, son of a Mary Jesus. Bring your own B.

Aka the freeform station of the nation, nerdprom for vinylly inclined, staffed by the revenge of the HS AV squad. Listener supported. Commercial free. Loads of fun for you and me.

WFMU - you may think its associated with a University, but trust us, its not.

You like my wfmu shirt I am wearing but not the stains and holes and B.O. coming from me. Oh well.

Sounds you've never heard before. Sounds you'll never hear again. WFMU. Choo choo, baby, choo choo.

Do you listen to Justin Bieber? You're an idiot! Expand your ear palette and don't be a dolt! Listen to WFMU and un-Bieber your soul! WFMU...ain't no Bieber here!

Kitty Carlisle:

Hi, I'm Kitty Carlisle. I know I'm dead, but speaking of me-
remember to spay and neuter your cats. Spring is here, and there's nothing sadder than the tons of street cats in beautiful Jersey City. Brought to you by WFMU, purveyors of wonderful music, opinions, and lovers of kitties.

El Infarto:

Have you ever met someone who both fascinates and repulses you? An oddball recluse who still demands the attention of everyone in the room? Well, they're probably a DJ on WFMU. WFMU: give it a listen, and be just like the different people.

Sounds that make me want to touch myself. WFMUUUUUOOOOHHHHHH

Greg from Bloomfield:

My co-workers used to refer to FMU as "that station that sounds like a broken air conditioner." To be fair I tuned into Fabio a week or two ago and did actually think my radio was busted...

Hi i'm Chris Glenn. About 8 years ago a free form radio station with the call letters wfmu changed my musical and entertainment life. I don't have cable t.v. so i listen to wfmu at every opportunity.. perhaps a bit too much now that i think of it..
but i can't stop..it's got music to blow your mind and some weird call in shows to tickle your funny bone... wfmu. try it. (warning listening to wfmu will ruin all other radio stations. But you won't miss them)
  6:41pm
DPCD:

WFMU... the missing piece from your life's jigsaw puzzle. But BEWARE!
Your mind may no longer be the boss. Once you hear this stuff, the old Firesign Theatre albums won't be your only refuge from harsh reality.

Seduce Medusa:

Whether you like bad music or just plain hate good music, tuning into WFMU is a moral imperative. It is not an option, yet it is becoming both a privilege and a right..... BLAST! SOUND GOOD TO YOU?? If you like statistics that refer to negative numbers: More supreme court justices listen to WFMU than you might think. Exactly zero listen to WFMU. Until all nine have "WFMU" branded on their heads, the United States will show no mercy on the marginal and strange.

Kathy:

Irony my friend....
There has NEVER been a station that I have listened to, where I actually say "WHY am I listening to this?" as much as the great WFMU. It is a challenge a gift and a reason to persist on in the search for the music of YOUR life. W F M U

WFMU PSA:

Friends, is the world getting you down? Are you tired, feeling lethargic, losing your hair, suffering from brittle nerves or the heartbreak of psoriasis? Have you had enough of hiding under your bed after listening to the endless stream of horror and negativity that comes out of the mainstream media sources? Well friend, we may not be able to help you with the fatigue, the hair, or the nails, or the anxiety BUT we can help to lift your spirits and avoid the malaise of the mainstream angst just by turning your dial to the Fun 91 WFMU and we will GUARANTEE some relief from your emotional grind into the pit of despair. WFMU – radio that is Way Far More Uplifting. Never shaking and always stirring.

WFMU...restoring faith in humanity one show at a time.

Gotham FX:

Are you listening to the radio? Ar you hearing Rihanna, or Katy Perry, or the Black Eyed Peas, perhaps? Something that is making you lose faith in music forever and wanting to rip the antenna off your radio and gouge it in your eye until sweet blissful emptiness comes? Don't end it all- listen to WFMU and learn to enjoy the radio again...and save lives!
