Irene, got to go, softball training, have to work on my batting. Talking of which and this is a loose thread but I am starting to lose the will to live with our Metsies. Have a great week everyone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53pm
Irene Trudel:

Oh, Sean, that's being a true Mets fan! Enjoy your softball practice.

KevinfromBayRidge:

Saw them at Carnegie Hall doing the whole Scheherazade thing with full orch. in the mid-late 70s. Quite a shew!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:21pm
Irene Trudel:

Luckily I got to see Renaissance back in the early 70's at Fairleigh Dickenson U., and at the reunion show a couple of summers ago. Sadly Michael Dunford passed a couple of years ago, although I see a new guitarist will carry on in his place.
Avatar 1:23pm
Van in DC:

Oh wow, I had a few Renaissance albums way back when...totally forgot about them! Thanks for playing them Irene

Irene - Try "Strength of Strings" on No Other a couple more times. That song really gets me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38pm

renaissance was first concert i ever saw, 1975 or 76. i think annie had an 8 octave range.

irene, do you have any of the keith relf / illusion iteration? jane relf's voice is awful, tho, but songs like 'kings and queens' is really good...

1st Rennaisance album has some gems; Jim McCarty and John Hawken in middle of brief tour performing songs from that album.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:57pm
Irene Trudel:

@Chris B, yes that was true but I think they may have broken up. Annie has lived in Pennsylvania for a number of years, by the way.
