Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm
Uncle Michael:

I'm mecca-nik dancing.
Avatar 7:45pm
Jesse K:

whoops, I'll take credit for that last mix-up
Avatar 7:53pm
northguineahills:

If I had one complaint about WFMU, is that's there's not enough techno derivatives/UK dance/other dance derivatives of said vein. This is making up for it.
Avatar 7:55pm
Jesse K:

Jackson says: "that's a great compliment, right there"
Avatar 7:57pm
northguineahills:

Always dig Thomas Brinkmann

I could go for some schaefel beat, but I need to hit the polls to vote before they close at 9.
Avatar 8:02pm
Jesse K:

hit those polls! make em feel it!
Avatar 8:03pm
Jesse K:

I've heard Bryce play Brinkmann before but I agree that there isn't enough dance music on fmu
Avatar 8:03pm
Jesse K:

never enough anywhere
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12pm
Uncle Michael:

Wait....wot? Hinkinsky Dinkoutsky?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12pm
Gary:

Hey wait, I have this memory of Halcyon ... in Carroll Gardens?
Avatar 8:14pm
Jesse K:

Did it feel like a spa supply store?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:15pm
Gary:

Ha, no, it was this weird combo of record and/or CDs and like coffee shop?
Avatar 8:20pm
Jesse K:

Jackson says: "it's gotta be the place" he remembers it being full of pebbles. not the 60's reissue series but the little stones
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:35pm
listener james from westwood:

you should be able to star playlist pics that contain cats.
Avatar 8:45pm
Jesse K:

I try to include cats in the show whenever possible
Avatar 8:49pm
northguineahills:

I used to dj at Halcyon in Carroll Gardens.
Avatar 8:51pm
Jesse K:

can you confirm if there were pebbles?
Avatar 8:51pm
northguineahills:

Yeah, Halcyon was a club, bar, cafe, record store, and an art gallery.
Avatar 8:52pm
Jesse K:

I'll assume the pebbles would have been part of the art gallery...
Avatar 8:53pm
northguineahills:

The feed keeps on dropping in and out for me.
Avatar 8:54pm
Jesse K:

weird, is that happening for anyone else? seems strong from this side but that's no real indication
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm
