That press conference, expressing much anger with Senate Democrats, was held on August 12, 2013, a day before the Bridgegate e-mail was sent. The New York Times regional section, which largely ignored the story since it broke in September (The Record has been following it continually) has led with 6-7 'Bridgegate' stories each day lately, many very scathing. Reality, as usual, probably lies somewhere in the middle.
