I listen to all talk shows on WFMU. I really enjoy both Aerial View and Why oh Why. One of the first Aerial View episode hooked my up was when somebody called the studio trying to reach MAC from Antique, to sell a collection of old records. Chris T. talked to that guy for the whole show and made me laugh a lot.

I want to pledge to both your shows, but only can do next week due to credit card restrictions.

Rhody Chris:

If you call in they don't take credit card info. You'll get a payment sheet after the marathon. Or you can pay monthly like I do.

Ange you'll be awesome :D

Carmichael:

You can pledge online using a credit card, Fernando. Whenever your card is ready. That's what I do. Takes less time to complete, and gets in FMU's hand faster.

The cow is shaking its head "yes" when it does that -- not a move real cows make AFAIK. What I proposed to Kenzo a couple marathons ago was that if someone got to, say, 150% of goal, the cow would flip over on its back (inspired by cow tipping) and kick its legs in the air ecstatically.

Can't wait to set stuff on fire with my new Chris T lighter!

Chicken paprikash with egg noodles and gypsy soup with barley. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Is "Pompton Plains" a real place? It sounds like something out of JK Rowling, or Jonathan Swift, or Rocky and Bulwinkle

Speaking of last week's show...I'm in agreement on the tungsten rings. I'm an aircraft mechanic. If I ever do put one of those rings on my finger, it will be tungsten and I know many others who have them. If you work with your hands, I'd say the no-maintenance aspect is much better than gold.

It's a real place...real boring
