Or pizza parlors.
We had The Olde Organ Grinder (which issued two peculiar LPs) and a creepy place in a big ex-cathedral called Uncle Milts. Both places had Mighty Wurlitzers in them.

When I was growing up LW was always on my grandparents TV. I was shocked to find reruns of it STILL playing in South Dakota on PBS station. Popular I guess...

Avatar 7:16pm

Mine (nightmare) is (of course) looking at a live board with no music ready. Nakedness is not an issue, as it is radio and that would not produce so much stress. (Am naked now, in fact... from the neck down.)

Kat in Chicago:

I've had a radio show late Monday nights for a year now but haven't had a full-on DJ Nightmare yet. Except in the actual studio during the actual show when some bit of gear craps out on me, but I believe those are filed under Egregious Technical Errors
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:19pm

I was once sleeping while listening to a streaming radio station when the song I used to use to intro my show came on and I immediately had the 'I'm due to go on but not ready' dream and jumped out of bed.

Marc Almond is the thinking person's Hans Wurman.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21pm

The recurring one I have now is that I am doing late night radio and step out for a smoke and lock myself outside and no one's there to let me in. This has actually happened to others but not me (yet).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21pm

Mr. Lowry - this is easy enough to remedy; just move to Moscow, Idaho and become a volunteer DJ at their local free-format station, KUOI.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21pm

What if your Marc Almond records turned into Mark Almond records?
