June 3, 2014: Aerial View at the WFMU Record Fair
This past Saturday I brought my Zoom H6 recorder on location to the WFMU Record Fair. Go behind the scenes at the incredible 69th Regiment Armory and learn what it takes to stage this mammoth event. You'll hear interviews with WFMU’s own Scott Williams, Michael Shelley, "Mr. Record Fair" Chris M., Ken Freedman, Joe McGasko, Rex Doane and Clay Pigeon. I also spoke with Todd-o-Phonic Todd Abramson of Telstar Records and Billy Miller of Norton Records. And the good people from DUB Pies and Two Boots Pizza. Enjoy it all with heaping helpings of natural reverb from the 130 foot tall arched ceiling of the armory! And please call and tell me if you've ever been to a WFMU Record Fair. what you purchased and whether or not you still buy vinyl.
