Nothing says fun like Rambo the Racoon.
Avatar 12:34am

I enjoyed it. But I am not saying "greatest sci-fi movie ever!" like many of my friends are.
  12:35am
JakeGould:

“Rambo” reminds me that Menachem Golan of “Cannon Films” fame passed away recently.
  12:35am

Perfect timing for a Nillson song!!!!

Both Coreys were in "License to Drive." They were both in "The Lost Boys" too.

I went to see "The Lost Boys" on a first date.

Ken From Hyde Park:

I picked up "Lost Boys of Sudan" from the library once. Much different from "The Lost Boys."
Avatar 1:12am
BadGuyZero:

Tina Turner's saxophone player covered The Call's "I Still Believe" in "The Lost Boys."
Avatar 1:15am
Therese:

Wow. Was it good?
Avatar 1:16am
BadGuyZero:

There were a lot of cover songs in that movie. Echo & The Bunnymen covered "People Are Strange," INXS and Jimmy Barnes covered The Easybeats' "Good Time" and Roger Daltrey covered "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me." There were probably others. Those are the ones I recall.
  1:16am
coalhard:

We have quantum computers today that cannot think as fast as BGZ? WTF?
Avatar 1:17am
BadGuyZero:

It was ok. From what I recall it was very similar to The Call's version.
Avatar 1:19am
BadGuyZero:

Except it had saxophone. Lots and lots of saxophone.
  1:20am
coalhard:

See what I mean I would not know a saxophone if I sat on one
Avatar 1:20am
Therese:

I always thought it weird that the vampires had an enormous Jim Morrison portrait in their lair, but they chose to use a cover of "People are Strange."
Avatar 1:24am
BadGuyZero:

Ray Manzarek produced Echo & The Bunnymen's version. He produced the self-titled album they released around that time. He played organ on "Bedbugs & Ballyhoo" from that album.

Someday the humans will lose control and the machines will take over chalk it up to evolution

I'm scanning covers for my singles blog. I didn't know that Neneh Cherry was the female vocalist on The The's "Slow Train To Dawn."

If we kill the machines we go back into the caves but at least we would be humanity

But then we wouldn't have a machine to kill alien machines --we are screwed

That total time of that Tony Molina record is under twelve minutes.

So way back in Feb a nervous gray haired guy was stuck infront of the mic on your pledge show. You vocally took his hand and calmed him like a first grader's mother at his first public speech.
So I am listening here tonight and just wanted to say that week in week out you play amazing music You're the best, Therese

  1:48am

Late to the party but will just say, “Lost Boys,” “The Princess Bride” and “Raising Arizona” are three 1980s films I used to really love but I just cannot watch at all anymore. They really aged badly. Really.
