I went through a crash landing over Belfast. They didn't know if the landing gear had locked. We circled around made dips toward the the airport's tower until we ran out of fuel. The scariest safe landing I've ever been in.

My fourth grade class went to downtown Jaxsonville to see the play, Pinocchio. we got out (and it was ungodly cold for FL, I remember seeing that it was 26F at a bank digital clock . We were playing on the boardwalk by the river, and it was clear, except for a Sideshow Bob hair cloud in the south. We went to McDonalds, as elementary field trips were want to do back in the 80s, and my Mom came and told me and my friends what had happened.
