Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from December 16, 2014 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Jeff Koons is a sham hands-down. There have been a few cool pieces over the years (balloon and hedge/flower animals, small ceramic sculptures, and the porn star wife paintings all come to mind) but most of it is seriously self-congratulatory pretentious dreck made by disciples. @Cheri: Sincere apologies are in order, I had met a friend who had to work there today, so I was pretty worked up. Now that I've cooled down a little, I see I was irrationally hostile. I wasn't even there, so I was just dumb. I apologize to you and everyone I called out, I was wrong. I don't apologize to Koons though, I still think he's a disgrace to honorable assholes

@Cecile: I'd love to move to Massachusetts, I fell in love with the trees and snow there the only time I went to the US. I like cold weather, so the only other choices for me would be Wisconsin or Minnesota, with the latter looking better because of 5th element. Not happening though, my eyes are blue, but my arab blood sometimes shows too much. And I just don't want to live with caucasians. I'm one, but I've never lived in that crowd, I really feel awkward in that ethnic stronghold.
