Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from November 27, 2015 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

I found out something amazing last night! Talking to one of my Dad's oldest friends (like, from grade school), it seems that he and my Dad threw a fundraiser for WFMU as teenagers (roughly 1970) in a local highschool. Passaic, perhaps?
Avatar 1:06pm
(Eyepatch) Fox:

He told me that they drove down to East Orange to deliver the money, and were given whatever random stuff WFMU had in return; such as a large door covered in stickers.
Avatar 1:07pm
Bryce:

?? hahaa, wow!

omg, gotta talk to you about that

I think of my elementary school music teacher every time I listen to your show, Bryce. She was totally a hippy, a lady with long plain hair to her waist, no makeup, and a face with small eyes and a wide muppety mouth. She taught us that music is "organized sound", to which I challenged her with a series of hypotheticals. She accepted each one of my wacky ideas, and said that it would be music.
Avatar 2:33pm
Bryce:

yay! every elementary school needs to have one of them. is that in Core Curriculum?

mine had one too, but also a standard-issue pedo woodwind instructor
Avatar 2:34pm

Ken From Hyde Park:

My elementary school music teacher didn't seem to like me. Never called on me for which song to start the class. There were a handful of talented kids who got called on like 90% of the time. Oh, well. I got along pretty well with my band & choir teacher in high school.

superb music today Bryce! thank you!

i try other radio stations when they come in .. honestly.. but they just don't compare.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

@Linda - There seems to be a station in Connecticut on 90.1 frequency. In certain areas near me, but to the south a bit, it overrides WFMU's signal. Luckily, they don't seem to reach your area.
  2:57pm
Linda Lee:

no, it doesn't. weirdly enough, fmu comes in strongest for me over pretty much every other station! & i'm in the catskill mountains at 2500', looking southwest.
  2:58pm
Linda Lee:

.. meant to say, the butt-end of Ulster County.

thanks, linda! :) always amazing to me that there are so many open minded people listening to this dang station, 24 hours a day. really helps to get me through the rest of boring life
  3:00pm
Linda Lee:

i'm so thankful for the station these days, Bryce. no tv, no phone, no broadband, no wifi, no neighbors for a mile & i'm immobilized with a bad back. 24 hours indeed! i'm incredibly thankful!

Yes, good show today, Bryce. See you next time!
