i used to enjoy them, to a certain extent, but it seems they have become predictable.i've seen about a third of his films, most of which i enjoyed, even "inglorious basterds". i was going to avoid this one, but i saw it was online.. i wasn't really impressed and, truth be told, i'm tired of Samuel Jackson's type-cast bad-boy characters.

well, reading what you said about it, it's not a film i'd run out to see..
i DID see "The Revenant" and liked it, especially the cinematogtaphy; loved the use of natural light and "minor-key" lighting.
