	9:36am annie: i started watching "Broadchurch"; it was very disturbing to me at the beginning.. had to get past the triggers.. so far so good, though. arrived at the part where the old man offed himself.

	9:41am Listener Robert: With "Lost" it helps to be familiar with "Hamlet", lots of A.C. Doyle, lots of "Department S", "Watchmen", "Illuminatus!", "The Life & Loves of a She-Devil", "Holy Blood, Holy Grail", a little "Jeremy Creek", "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World", adaptations of Doyle's "The Lost Special", and a little bit of other stuff.
	9:41am Ike: Fargo S2 was better than S1 IMHO. Neither completely stuck the landing though, but S2 did much better than S1 which totally collapsed at the end (though many will disagree w/me on that). S1 was shallower. Billy Bob Thornton was great as a Satanic figure in S1 but his character really made no sense and had no point other than to give him a chance to give a great performance. The villains in S2 were more interesting as people.
	9:42am annie: the things you think you know... then step into the fmu comments board and all is revealed. i really DID try to watch lost, it just got stupid. i had to quit.

	9:44am Cecile: wow. that's a heavy story. But to be pedantic, the performance didn't cause her tragedy. I know this from experience. But to have that coupled with such a dark performance and time, I can understand why it's hard for her to listen to.

Doyle, lots of "Department S", "Watchmen", "Illuminatus!", "The Life & Loves of a She-Devil", "Holy Blood, Holy Grail", a little "Jeremy Creek", "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World", adaptations of Doyle's "The Lost Special", and a little bit of other stuff.
	9:41am Ike: Fargo S2 was better than S1 IMHO. Neither completely stuck the landing though, but S2 did much better than S1 which totally collapsed at the end (though many will disagree w/me on that). S1 was shallower. Billy Bob Thornton was great as a Satanic figure in S1 but his character really made no sense and had no point other than to give him a chance to give a great performance. The villains in S2 were more interesting as people.
