Aerial View was WFMU’s first regularly-scheduled phone-in talk show. Hosted by Chris T. and on the air since 1989, the show features topical conversation, interviews and many trips down the rabbit hole. Until further notice, Aerial View is only available as a podcast, available every Tuesday morning. Subscribe to the newsletter “See You Next Tuesday!” and find tons of archives at aerialview.me.

Today's show was recorded Sunday, February 28 at WORD in Jersey City and features my interview with Kaz about his career and new book Underworld: From Hoboken To Hollywood.
You've heard and seen me mention Kaz many times. That's because I can draw a line connecting everything in my life post-1986 to him. From my career in radio to meeting the woman who became my wife, none of it happened without WFMU and WFMU didn't happen without Kaz. Thanks, friend!
And thanks to everyone who came out on Sunday and especially to WORD Special Events Coordinator Katelyn and the staff of WORD Jersey City for being so accommodating.
Don't forget: Thanks to Kaz and Fantagraphics I have TWO copies of the Underworld book (below) to give away during the Marathon! Just pledge to Aerial View and your name will be entered in the drawing.

My Last Marathon
Friends, it's been a long run but it'll soon be over. Aerial View will end by this July. I still haven't determined exactly when but July 4th will represent thirty years since I was first on the air at WFMU. I want to go until then but I haven't made a firm decision yet.
Whenever Aerial View actually ends, this will be my last WFMU Fundraising Marathon. I'd like to make the best of it, so I implore you to support the show and my thirty years by making a generous pledge beginning next week, when the code will be available for pledging directly to the show.
Pledges of $75 or more to Aerial View get this year's limited-edition flip-top refillable lighter, with Chris T. illustration by Piersanti and graphics by Jack Taylor.
The 2016 WFMU Fundraising Marathon begins and runs until Sunday, March 20, ending with the infamous Hoof & Mouth Sinfonia Finale live in Monty Hall on Sunday, March 20!
