'Brain Salad Surgery' (1973) was always very much my thing - so good to hear another album.

Was there another Keyboardist in Rock as accomplished as Keith Emerson? To say nothing of his aggressiveness, particular style, distinct showmanship - & pioneer use of synthesizers?

Irene Trudel:

Hi Jake, Rev. Rabbit and P-90! I was totally obsessed with Keith Emerson and very much an ELP Fan. Couldn't let him pass without a tribute of sorts.

...& from what I can gather so far - it sounds as if he ended his life when disease ended his ability to play.

P-90:

I was once in McCabes when the actor/musician John Schneider came in to look at some stuff. We started talking music, tried some guitars; he was interested in a guitar synthesizer rig which he wasn't familiar with, but I was. We wound up hanging out playing with it for a couple of hours, and he walked out with the whole setup I recommended. The salesman who wrote it up got the commission, I got a random story to post here.
