A preview of The Brooklyn Folk Festival with Founder/Musician Eli Smith, Guitarist/Singer Wyndham Baird and Festival Recording Engineer Don Fierro

For the past seven years, The Brooklyn Folk Festival has been growing as a NYC alternative to the Newport version. Festival producer, folklorist and musician Eli Smith (who plays in the Downhill Strugglers) joined Irene, along with Don Fierro, who records and streams the festival over Jalopy Theatre's Down Home Radio Show, and Wyndham Baird, a trad musician who can credibly channel Bob Dylan. Don and Eli brought recordings from past festivals and Wyndham and Eli played old folk tunes in advance of this year's Brooklyn Folk Festival, taking place April 8th-10th, 2016.

Ken From Hyde Park:

@Aaron - Not really. The caller didn't say anything, but had his/her radio playing, so there was just the echo from Bronwyn & Jim. They don't use a call screener, so the caller goes right to the air. Probably someone just trolling them.
