doors 1st was 4th Jan., the Human Be-On the 14rh...& we're off...It may be weird reflecting on the Summer of Love *this* year...like noting how much Half a Century is another world...I do remember one year watching 'Monterey Pop' & suddenly notably feeling it was irretrievably remote - even as an echo...

Swastika is ancient holy symbol about two hundred years old. It is found in all parts of the world in many cultures and religions. The Nazi Ideology used the Swastika incorrectly and disgraced this holy symbol of natural forces. This video shows the use Swastika before the rise of Nazism. Swastika needs to return its good name.

Yeah - the best music curating being broadcast is by presenters here that don't even get paid - & the best station - w/ playlists, comments, archives, five streams & more - for a fraction of other stations' budgets. It's a freaking miracle.

Interesting tidbit from wikipedia--- The 1992 Radiohead song "Creep" uses a similar chord progression and shares some melodic content with "The Air That I Breathe". As a result, Hammond and Hazlewood sued Radiohead for plagiarism and won.

New James Chance sounding pretty good. Along with the new Half Japanese (advance streaming at NPR) proof the old school can still deliver the goods now and then.
