Just brush your teeth a bit more. And using toothpicks is fine as well. But flossing is not really useful as a daily think unless you have gunk in there.

It is useful to make gums stop bleeding, brushing excessively is actually not good for gums. My teeth feel better when I floss, but that's just my experience.
