If I fall prey to it, I try to at least make it funny (and clear that nobody should take me seriously). But hey, I didn't even make any Dead cracks late Sun. night but I was sorely tempted! What really stopped me was that I couldn't come up with anything better than "the band is so loose on this boot that I'm surprised it's a tape and not something that came off of a stinky homeless guy's foot!" which is lame. (Rest of that show was amazeballs tho.)

If I fall prey to it, I try to at least make it funny (and clear that nobody should take me seriously). But hey, I didn't even make any Dead cracks late Sun. night but I was sorely tempted! What really stopped me was that I couldn't come up with anything better than "the band is so loose on this boot that I'm surprised it's a tape and not something that came off of a stinky homeless guy's foot!" which is lame.
