Hi Mel

coelacanth∅:

i realised before that i've known very little about Ken Nordine, even though i've been familiar with his work for around 40 years. i don't know if i've ever heard him in an advertisement, despite wikipedia saying i probably would know his voice from that.
...he's 97 years old and "still active". that's awesome.
......there's a dvd that i really want (& i have bought <10 dvds/movies in my whole life) but it's $25.+ sh, which i cannot afford. ("the eye is never filled")
oh well.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 9:45pm
weinstein:

Great to know someone else appreciates him
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:46pm
coelacanth∅:

oh hell yeah! thank you for playing him!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53pm
coelacanth∅:

- and Thanks for playing Joe Cocker. i don't remember why he came up but i mentioned on these comment boards, maybe early this year, that i liked some JC, and several regular commenters declared with a good deal of smugness how terrible he is, like "of course he's terrible! everybody knows he's terrible!"
...i think it's a matter of being close-minded because of the shmalzy stuff that turned into radio hits.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:55pm
Little Danny:

Happy Thanksgiving all! It's coma season around here and I'd encourage everyone to drift aboard with me next on the Cool Blue Flame: wfmu.org...
