(In grad school, we used to put Turkish flags and other accouterments on the Greek students and vice versa on the Turkish students. (us yanks were very juvenile, and they caught on after awhile it was the yanks.... and the poles, and mexicans, albanians, afganis, ghananians, nigerians, malays, chinese {we chipped in}.. [easiest national rivalry to get guffaw out of when your 22]) After they figured out it was everyone but them that perpetrating the pranks, they thought it was funny....before then.....

All of the Turkish restaurants (best I've ever been to) all had a full liquor bar). (Cultural norms were way different in the 60-70s).

We both in succession lost our permanent jobs w/in 2 mos. of each other and had to freelance w/ no benefits. Obamacare just started being a thing, but she got diagnosed before she registered (her yearly was after her insurance quit).

I'm more concerned on rebuilding my credit so we can buy a house in two years time. If something happened to me, I'm concerned about the stress it will have on her. (seeing a doctor this summer).
