Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from May 1, 2018 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

oh HELL YES, W.Neil. A great many Monty Hall sets are there, as well as marathon propaganda short films. If only it offered a live audio stream, I could easily play it at home base on the proper stereo (hint, techoids)

Been slammed with work, but I just want to chime in with a "hell yes" for Ono. Caught them last fall at Hasslefest in Boston without having heard of them before. Really really cool band, and they seemed like really warm people.

@RTD, when I want to stream something from a laptop or phone to my home stereo, I just use a dirtball-cheap adapter, quarter-inch plug on one end, regular RCA on the other end. (I need to get a longer one though, so I can listen from my couch while still fumbling with said device.)
