Hey-o!

@rf: that's odd. I clicked Give the Drummer Radio on the main page, then the the big play button and it worked for me. (Chrome/Windows) I have heard of some glitchiness, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:20pm
Listener Bob in PGH:

Hiya! The playlist pic is making me a little sad. A family of rabbits dug a warren at the back of my yard this spring but recently I found the body of one of the babies.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:20pm
Meghan:

oh no! poor baby bunny..... he followed his nose to bad things
Avatar 12:22pm
βrian:

Yeah, the attrition rate is pretty high for young rabbits in our 'hood. I think the crows have developed a taste for them.
  12:23pm
rf:

@jeff G: I'm using chrome/windows too but I may need to update Chrome. It seems like you guys are maybe using a new player/service for the main stream? That's when this problem started for me. Hardly a problem though for here I am, listening to this wonderful music! thanks

@NGH: Humans, you mean?

I once had a neighbor who claimed to have had a pet crow as a child that was trained to weed his parents garden.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27pm

pet crow that weeds? now that is one very talented crow....

i wonder what crow meat tastes like.

Around my house, they've been going after the nestlings of smaller birds. Big brutes!

I mean crows are smart but as I recall they bribed/trained this one with food of some kind

Hi all!
I find the Play button on the home page to be finicky, sometimes it works fine (now), sometimes I get the stream when someone is on, or the main station, maybe they've gotten the bugs out.

I once went to a Orlando City - NYCFC soccer game at Yankee Stadium wearing an Orlando jersey (Orlando won 2-1) and went w/ a friend to the Yankee bar around the corner full of NYCFC fans. Everyone was cool and everything but one guy walked by and slammed me on the ground by the hoodie. He was thrown out immediately and I drank for free the rest of the night (good trade-off).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38pm
Meghan:

ha! Ike, it may be a cosmic level as well! who knows!
  12:38pm
elwyn:

all that talk about baseball made me think of crackerjacks which made me think of a place I used to go to where I played board games and they sold American junk food. the place closed down about 10 months ago
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm
Meghan:

awwww, elwyn, I can send you a gift box of junk American food! Can't promise the prize will be a tattoo...that was always the best prize
  12:40pm
Lord Johnzon:

I once knew a man who claimed to have had a pet bear... he lives in rural West Virginia and one day an adolescent bear followed him to the store in the morning so he threw it a honeybun. After that the bear would follow him to the store every day and ended up living on his back porch... his wife would bring it a plate of food at meal times.
  12:41pm
elwyn:

@Lord: a bear served with the Polish army in WWII. reached a good rank too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm
Meghan:

Oh damn NGH! That is crazy! I was at an Orioles game at the end of the season, like the last couple games and they were already not going to play offs. Some guy walks by in a Yankees shirt and a guy throws a full water bottle at him. I was surprised since the Yankees weren't even playing and the Orioles fan hatred for them! ha!

The GTDR stream works fine for me from the main page in both Firefox and Chrome. In both I have to hit "play" first though; it doesn't auto-play. (Never noticed this new pop-up player before. Did this just change?)
  12:45pm
Lord Johnzon:

We all want a pet bear... why wouldn't you? No Sports fan has ever messed with someone accompanied by a pet bear.

I use the phone app at work, and usually iTunes at home, failing that, the popup. Unless there's a major technical glitch, it usually works for me.
Avatar 12:50pm
Ike:

I normally use VLC but I'm trying out the pop-up player since somebody was complaining about it above. Seems fine, but I think it used to auto-play back in the day, before they switched to this new thingy. (@NGH, you're a brave man. iTunes is a tool of Satan. Get thee behind me, iTunes!)
