I usually associate Django with too many years of waiting tables. But this is nice.

i hate the red sox too, but they're really, really good. sox in five.
Avatar 9:17am

unless, of course, david price has to pitch all of the remaining games. then it's dodgers in 5.
Avatar 9:18am
Chris from DC:

Seeing Manny playing in a series for the Dodgers when he should have been a career Oriole breaks my heart. And I'm no Sox fan. Probably will just skip this series.
Avatar 9:19am

I always thought the Yankees was the only team one was permitted to hate. I grew up with the Tigers.

I'm rooting for the Brooklyn Dodgers.

So, this is how the FMU amateur baseball league began to first organize...

Mornin'! Been busy with work, but this is real nice right here.
Avatar 9:29am
Lixiviated Life:

a Dodgers v Red Sox series is utter hell for a NY baseball fan.
Hate the Dodgers cause they left NY for California.
Hate the Red Sox because... do you really need a reason to hate the Red Sox?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:29am
steveo:

did the softball team play against commercial stations but then get tired of softball after a couple of innings and try to get the other side to switch to abstract impressionism instead but then the commercial team would say no we can't because of the advertisers?

I finally got to have my coffee and start the rally at home, see you at work! I hope I dont miss much, this is beautiful!

I've been playing old Dexter Gordon ballads while also playing subway sounds in the background.
Don't know why, but it sounds right to me.

I think an audible tape flip would be a nice nostalgia trigger for me...
Avatar 10:25am

I can only imagine how the engineers at Antares have felt over the past 20 or so years after developing Autotune and hearing how it's been applied over the past 15 years or so.

Marshall Stacks:

As a local KFJC listener, that was a week I stayed glued to the radio.

KFJC issued a best-of compilation, but I'm sure the original tapes are on a shelf somewhere at Foothill College.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:37am

You can definitely hear some radio static and knob tuning on this tape.
