As an engineer I had to get on the roof of a building today (by myself). I climbed up the ladder and opened the hatch, much to my surprise I found a bunch of seagulls with nests up there. Needless to say they were pretty protective of their unborn and proceeded to swoop me. There I was, trying to get a job done, getting swooped by 7-8 seagulls. I'll never be the same.

Perhaps it's time to change my name to Butterman, the teacher. I play WFMU all day long in my art room. The kids have no idea what is going on most times. I love it. Some become life long listeners though. I had 5 of them ( in their late 20's) at the art auction. They didn't even know I was participating in it
Guess I taught them nothing cuz I signed the stupid painting with big ass letters!

A goon sack is a cheap 5L cask wine. It's in a metallic type sack presented within a cardboard box. Most of the time the cardboard is discarded and it's thrown around or hooked up to a clothes line and spun around. It's basically a right of passage for youth in Australia. It's horrible! I am so happy that a band has chosen to call themselves the GoonSacks though!
