Beats mismatched. New mystic moods. The International Style. Pressed and dressed. Queasy listening. New ways to fail. More is more. Backroom room tones.

He-he-Hello, everybody!

Diezel Tea:

Jesse! Wild way to start off the set)) Fun fact - I played in a band named Laura Palmer for years, and so did former FMU DJ Nat Roe. Haven't heard this Thought Gang stuff before.)))
Avatar 3:11am
Jesse Dorris:

Heh, thanks! And oh cool! The TG album is good when it's good, but it's not always good.

Hello Jesse and listeners
Avatar 3:21am
Jesse Dorris:

Hey, Fred, how are you?

Michael:

Big thumbs up on the Persona album! thanks for playing that

Ben Abs:

Hello Jesse, Diesel tea, Fred

David in London:

Morning all.
Avatar 3:25am
Diezel Tea:

Hello and hello. I think given day of the week/timezone differences, Polyglot is likely my favorite FMU show for work at present.
Avatar 3:27am
Jesse Dorris:

Thanks, Michael! I just got turned on to that, and I'm grateful he told me about it--it's really something special.
Avatar 3:28am
Jesse Dorris:

Aww thanks :) I do appreciate all your ears!

Is this it?...Is this the FilmNoir....yes! yes it is...
Excited frosted film Noire
Avatar 3:30am
Jesse Dorris:

Speaking of a kind of film noir....
Avatar 3:40am
grtyvr:

awesome sounds Jesse!
Avatar 3:43am
Jesse Dorris:

Thank you! I realllly love this new Palmbomen II EP
Avatar 3:51am
Lost Cause:

"Theme" was perfect. A vintage drum machine and a 303 is a beautiful thing in the right hands.
Avatar 3:59am
Jesse Dorris:

It's hard to do something just with those and make it feel fresh and modern but Palmbomen II can do it.
  4:02am
basement:

Gut shtuff the robots are marching on wall street if you do not believe me look out your window hahahhahah
  4:05am
David in London:

Really enjoyed that Colossio. Something of the John Carpenters about it.
Avatar 4:07am
Jesse Dorris:

Let 'em have it!
Avatar 4:07am
Jesse Dorris:

Yeah, I think you're right about the Colossio. Very LA Freeway foreboding sprawl kind of vibe.
Avatar 4:11am
Lost Cause:

sounds like a modular synth having an acid trip. good stuff
  4:11am
David in London:

I know that post ‘Stranger Things’ JC is slightly en vogue again (a v good thing), but most are just copying. That Colossio does it with the spirit, not merely just the letter.
Avatar 4:13am
Jesse Dorris:

Haha good call, Lost Cause! The liner notes of this Die Angel claim it's made from a loom and two metal bowls during a white night in Finland...and I choose to believe.
Avatar 4:14am
Lost Cause:

one of the members of die Angel was in Pan Sonic. Excellent track
Avatar 4:14am
Jesse Dorris:

Yeah, David. There's a certain swing to the JC style not everybody can achieve.
Avatar 4:15am
Jesse Dorris:

The album gets *really* noisey but I love the space in this one.
Avatar 4:39am
Lost Cause:

Elec Music #1 sounds like a Buchla a'la Xenakis. one of the best programs on here by far. damn I should go to bed!
Avatar 4:40am
Jesse Dorris:

That compilation is super essential. Uh oh, this might wake you up!
Avatar 4:44am
Jesse Dorris:

This song is so stupid. But the drums and organ.
Avatar 4:44am

keeping me up is good!
Avatar 4:45am

aw man, controlled bleeding. Songs From A Sewer Of Dreams is a super difficult LP to get ahold of in the states. Lucky bastard! yes, this woke me up

Not sure if you do requests but if so, can you please play 'I don't get it' by Coil off of Ape of Naples
Avatar 4:50am

This track has me thinking of the 80's room at QXTs. Does Q's still exist?
Avatar 5:04am

I think so! But I've never been.
