When I watched and listened to the multi-trombone version of Bohemian Rhapsody...well, I'd hoped for better.

I just remembered that one of my all-time favorite versions of Old Devil Moon is by trombonist Jay Jay Johnson. It was recorded in 1956, so I am betting that the version I played was, in no small measure, an homage to Jay Jay's performance.
