	9:18am dale: i had a green stingray, it might have been a huffy. after several years i took it apart and repainted it flourescent red orange and added lime green hand grips. it looked hideous but no one would steal it. i had a cool whip container of nuts and bolts left over when it went back together.

	9:31am Ken From Hyde Park: For my sixth birthday, Grandpa brought over a used orange bike for my present. I cried because in my mind, one's first bike should have training wheels.
	9:32am Mandy: I read somewhere that Jim Jones once was a door-to-door salesman of baby monkeys.
	9:33am Ken From Hyde Park: I eventually got the hang of riding and later had a cool red bike with hi-rise handlebars and a 48" sissy bar. Rode it for miles along country roads.

	9:34am dale: i was listening to a ham conversation and a gentleman said he worked the docks in brooklyn back in the 60s. they were unloading a banana boat and there was a monkey on board and one of the guys took it home.
	9:35am Goyim in the AM: Started riding late, but as a result my first bike was a bad-ass big boy bike: A Schwinn Scrambler 36/36 in chrome. Aaaaaaaw yeah!
	9:35am Linda Lee: i think the sewer alligator myth is a way to relieve a kind of guilt. face it, there's no ecosystem down there! those animals can't live.
	9:36am Linda Lee: all i wanted as a kid was a dune buggy. never got one, though.
	9:36am melinda: @Mandy I don't remember if that was mentioned in the Jonestown/Jim Jones bio I read a while ago, but People's Temple had a pet chimp.
	9:37am Mandy: I'm old now. The Littlest Worm song is actually very sad. Poor wormy.

	9:38am dale: ken - when we were kids and had a dime we'd ride about 8 or 9 miles to a country story for a popsicle. we'd sit on the railroad tie that smelled of creosote and was there to keep people from hitting the store wall when they were using the free air pump. you had to eat fast or you'd be licking the melting syrup off your hand. then we'd ride the 8 or 9 miles back. that was pretty much my summer childhood.

	9:38am dale: ken - when we were kids and had a dime we'd ride about 8 or 9 miles to a country story for a popsicle. we'd sit on the railroad tie that smelled of creosote and was there to keep people from hitting the store wall when they were using the free air pump. you had to eat fast or you'd be licking the melting syrup off your hand. then we'd ride the 8 or 9 miles back. that was pretty much my summer childhood.
