I cycled him there on the crossbar of my old Raleigh..(5 miles?)
He said on the crossbar: "Feck, This is somtin' that woulda happen in Scotland, but not in London..."
He made me go up to his place and he played "CALADONIA" on his git for me.
We waited for his girl to come home... We drank more tea and I cycled home into the rising sun (HackneyIsh) feeling ever so happy...
