HAH! synchro-tim.
Title was "In Heaven Everything Is Fine: The Unsolved Life of Peter Ivers and the Lost History of New Wave Theatre" ... quite a read. Woven in was the whole thread about the failed investigation on the murder etc. But GOD, that show was the best thing for a young Rev.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm

There's a book about New Wave Theater producer David Jove called Freedom Spy that might interest you. It's not especially well written but contains some interesting information.

I remember the first Anthony Bourdain piece he published kinda touched on how 1977-79 was both the best time for music but also the most embarrassing and shitty time for almost anything else. The era of Ron Jeremy, something like that.

The only issue I took with the anarcho-punk book was the author sh*tting all over YES SIR, I WILL by Crass. It's one of my favorites by anybody, an infinite classic. A perfect LP. Memorized the whole damned thing when it came out (RIP teen angst)
  4:01pm

And a compendium called ‘The Aesthetics of Our Anger’ about Crass. You should still be able to download that free online (rather than fork out for it on Amazon). First chapter by yours truly.
