Roxy, Bowie, Cale, Nico, King Crimson, etc) but 10cc were not included on any radio shows or record guides I knew of back then. And no one I knew ever mentioned them. Just totally overlooked. Every so often, i would hear this intriguing, dreamy sounding song but always missed the announcer saying who it was. I called it "The Secret Song" It had whispering in it, and lush layers. Years later, i realized it was "I'm Not In Love."

I had to check this out a minute ago to make sure I was not talking bollocks - and turns out there is also a guitar there; I have never heard it there. The middle 8 has also a piano and a short but sweet dose of bass. It is so minimalistic and yet maximal with those tape loop choirs. Best 10 pence ever spent, that 7" I have.

Every so often, i would hear this intriguing, dreamy sounding song but always missed the announcer saying who it was. I called it "The Secret Song" It had whispering in it, and lush layers. Years later, i realized it was "I'm Not In Love."

I had to check this out a minute ago to make sure I was not talking bollocks - and turns out there is also a guitar there; I have never heard it there. The middle 8 has also a piano and a short but sweet dose of bass. It is so minimalistic and yet maximal with those tape loop choirs. Best 10 pence ever spent, that 7" I have.
