	3:49pm Passaic River Blues: Warbler migration is in full effect and the beauty of it is hard to describe. At Branch Brook Park in Newark this morning, we saw yellowthroats, redstarts, magnolia warblers, Wilson's warblers, a waterthrush, and a Nashville warbler (which I've never seen before). They're making their way from Central America to points north, and are just delightful.

	5:42pm PJ: In addition the general Republican hatred for public services, the main reason for the postal act of 2006, which requires the Post Office to fully fund all pensions RIGHT NOW for all workers (every other pension fund is designed to grow over time as money is paid in and investments increase in size) was to drive the USPS into bankruptcy so that the Postal Workers Union can be crushed. Republicans hate all unions, but particularly unions of government workers, and the Postal Workers Union was the very first, so has a special place for their hatred.

At Branch Brook Park in Newark this morning, we saw yellowthroats, redstarts, magnolia warblers, Wilson's warblers, a waterthrush, and a Nashville warbler (which I've never seen before). They're making their way from Central America to points north, and are just delightful.
