	9:26am YETI BOB: @Martinibomb: I've gone back and forth between straight-alphabetical and breakdown by categories. Alpha is good because it's unambiguous - but it kind of sucks for browsing, which is why record stores have sections for categories. So I have categories now. Jazz / Rock / Psychedelic / Reggae / Electronica / Way Out / FRKWYS / etc ... mostly it's not too hard to decide which category an LP goes into, except for a few things on the rock/jazz boundary (Sunwatchers made the cut into Jazz)

	9:32am melinda: @Yeti you are right. It was invented by Trader Vic, who liked to experiment with food, and later adopted by Chinese American restauranteurs. The original recipe used real crab because imitation crab wasn't available yet, and something like steak sauce.

	10:14am morphe': Maps - a book with a great start - (Nederlands) "The Assault" by Harry Mulisch .. the boy loves maps and he wishes he had a stronger magnifying glass looking at his maps so he could see the people and the horse and traps and trams and... in the streets and country lanes

All of my long-term partners were supporters of both (wife once wallpapered a room w/ old maps in she found in thrift stores, and also contributes to wfmu (too shy to usually chat, as I'd embarass her).

People have been debating whether that solo was Fripp or Rudolph for decades. (I used to think it was Manzanera but he's not credited for that track). Anyhow it's a thing people have been talking about for a long time, don't expect any easy answers.

(Nyatiti is a traditional lyre from Kenya.)

	9:26am YETI BOB: @Martinibomb: I've gone back and forth between straight-alphabetical and breakdown by categories. Alpha is good because it's unambiguous - but it kind of sucks for browsing, which is why record stores have sections for categories. So I have categories now. Jazz / Rock / Psychedelic / Reggae / Electronica / Way Out / FRKWYS / etc ... mostly it's not too hard to decide which category an LP goes into, except for a few things on the rock/jazz boundary (Sunwatchers made the cut into Jazz)

	9:32am melinda: @Yeti you are right. It was invented by Trader Vic, who liked to experiment with food, and later adopted by Chinese American restauranteurs. The original recipe used real crab because imitation crab wasn't available yet, and something like steak sauce.

People have been debating whether that solo was Fripp or Rudolph for decades. (I used to think it was Manzanera but he's not credited for that track). Anyhow it's a thing people have been talking about for a long time, don't expect any easy answers.
