The best selling Chinese cough syrup, Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa honey-loquat, can relieve throat pain for _minutes_ at a time, and that can mean a lot. Coconut-water for general hydration; avoid over-sugary things, osmotic pressure dries the throat further. Salt-water gargles. Get better.
