When I jokingly mentioned this new subculture that I had just heard of (it was the early 2000s) they kind of looked at each other in a knowing way and I realized I had just put my foot in it.

When I jokingly mentioned this new subculture that I had just heard of (it was the early 2000s) they kind of looked at each other in a knowing way and I realized I had just put my foot in it.
