Rosey is Listening on 91.1 MHz:

@dale, HUGE problem already with the placard abuse class. The same people who drive into Manhattan and crap all over it by parking their cars on sidewalks, in bike and bus lanes, in front of fire hydrants, are also obscuring, defacing, or just not using license plates to evade tolls. Of course members of the country's largest gang, the NYPD, are major offenders. It's not good enough that so many of them drive in from Suffolk County and then act as an occupying force that has complete contempt for the people who pay them for alleged protection and service, so as a result, many of them steal tolls and parking as well.

Think about these people getting away with evading bridge and tunnel tolls the next time you see some kid get arrested for evading a $2.75 subway or bus fare.

Crossing the Delaware River at Milford PA (NJ/PA) is still a bargain at $3.00 cash toll (only into pa, not into NJ). EZPass is $1.25.

When I moved here almost 30 years ago, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission used little metal tokens as well.

If you purchased a roll for $10.00 it cost you 25 cents to cross..one way into PA only. I still have some around here someplace
