'Kids' is not a straight chronological Doc - more a heartfelt tribute. In 1978 - collating footage was not the practice it is today. I think it's the astonishing Isle of Wight footage they said they literally saved from the dumpster... By now - the 'Amazing Journey' documentary has supplanted 'Kids' in a way. Man that banana bread hit the spot. It also had what I think was canned pineapple in it--the girl at the counter said it was banana pineapple bread. I love that bakery for their spontaneous experimental mashup recipes. They probably just had the end of an industrial can of crushed pineapple from another order and decided to go for it. Very moist and yummy. Still lobbying the owner HARD to bring back carrot cake bread.
