One of the NJ music scene's finest home recordists, Dave DeCastro has a long musical history as a sideman. Dave's been the bass player with Steve Wynn & the Miracle 3. He's also played bass with- The Health & Happiness show, Butch Hancock, Amy Rigby, Marty Willson-Piper, Neal Casal... the lost goes on. On his own DeCastro has a slew of psyche-drenched albums and sweet songs, mostly self released and available through this link. The last time Dave came out to WFMU to play there was about two feet of snow on the ground! Less of an adventure, but always a pleasure, Dave played a fine live set. He makes his home in Morristown, NJ (where Irene has strong roots). |
