This whole synthesizer show era might be my favorite Bley-time, even if rather atypical of his overall (immense) oeuvre.

Agreed (per usual). It's still amazing to me that using a synth was considered a sell out move in jazz at this time, when this stuff might have been Bley's most adventurous music, full stop.

Phew! Whenever someone plays more then one track from different albums in a row, I think it's an RIP tribute. (not the case w/ Paul Bley).
Not sure; she was selling signed copies of her reissued I Am the One not so long ago...

Light in the Attic is reissuing "I'm The One" later this year in a more affordable (though unautographed) edition. Hopefully it'll start to get the attention it deserves.

Maybe it'll spur more new music from her as well. Though I wasn't as crazy about her ECM album. Miss the wild & woolly Ms. Peacock.
