I had a curious time at De Gaulle airport. Going from Berlin-Paris-Mexico City. My gf's visa expired while we were in Europe, so, she was going to Mexico to get it renewed. Unfortunately, our flight stopped in Altanta. So, the US immigration officer at De Gaulle refused to let her on the plane. So, she spent 3 days unable to get any of the French employees to help her (she speaks French), and it wasn't until she ran into a Kiwi passenger, that she got some real information. She bought a new $2700 direct ticket to Mexico City. Meanwhile, I was in Mexico City, bought a bus ticket to her parent's town, and I hadn't slept in 2.5 days. Her parents speak no English, and have never saw me. It worked out ok. I spent 3 days watching the Simpsons en espanol, and her mom cooked me more food then I could possible eat before my gf got to DF (Mexico City).
