no! he's the author/compiler/editor... im flipping through it now and it looks pretty incredible... its full of original b/w photos and drawings and diagrams of electroacoustic and electromechanical instruments (+ orig theremin), and awesome looking handdrawn visual scores, in russia from early-mid 20th century from all different artists. im gonna do like a Youtube unboxing of this book.
