Everybody happy with the state of the streams? We did a big network change at the station and had some initial teething problems, but I believe all is now well. Do y'all concur?

maybe they can't hear you Jeff
Avatar 10:01pm
Jeff Moore:

(BTW, speaking of streams - the newest version of our iOS app - WFMU Radio version 5.1.2 - should be generally available in the App Store. Somewhere in there it offers you the ability to choose the stereo AAC stream, which I recommend for sonic goodness, instead of the old stereo MP3 stream. Oh, and see on this page where it says "128k AAC"? I recommend that for people who use standalone players like VLC or iTunes or suchlike.)

That is all. Enjoy the tunes.

Avatar 10:07pm
Jeff Moore:

I don't think the app automatically changes you to the AAC stream (although I argued for that); but it should now show up as an option.
  10:13pm
Hugh:

Concur w Jeff. Never had big stream probs since the 70s. (You know what I mean.) Have the sads since no Mets fans or even a scolding not to do that here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:18pm

hey Hugh, if you want to post your contact info for people to get in touch with you directly go ahead, but it's strictly between you and whoever contacts you.
  10:23pm
Hugh:

Thanks Evan but no Mets or Cubs fans (in town) who listen to your show are interested. We'll give em away at the gate. Anyway, love your show! I stream it! Seriously, thanks for the MUSIC!

Barkevious Shabazz:

The Tubes "Don't Touch Me There", while kind of a joke song, is so great, and the production so reminiscent of early 70's Roxy, it needs to get far more recognition that it does, which is none.
