my mother played 2 songs only, as i remember it. wagon wheels and malagueña, which seemed to me to be very well executed. she generally only played them after saying "you better be finished eating by the time i'm done playing!"

I saw a few piano destruction "parties", the culprits were what you'd call frat guys (we don't have fraternities over here, but we sure have the assholes). No, I'm just a concert-goer, no connections to work. She should check out Instants Chavirés (in Montreuil). They don't pay much, but it's all legit with a contract and all, and they usually host and feed the artists. And they have a Bosendorfer. They're a struggling place though, no way they could pay for airfare. But they could be a stop on a tour (I know it takes many, but one lead can't hurt)

I use Celsius, but the intervals are smaller in Fahrenheit, so, it's easier to get the accurate ambient temperature w/o going to decimals to decide what you need to wear...
