Royal Arctic Institute
Monday, June 30th, 3:01pm - 6pm

The Royal Arctic Institute weds the textures and vocabulary of that ol' lonesome highway to structures of post-punk and even prog, through a prism of drone and krautrock. on Music To Spazz By with Dave the Spazz

The Cheater Slicks
Friday, July 4th, 9pm - Midnight

Nate the K. can think of no better way to celebrate America’s birthday than with the one and only Cheater Slicks. The trio's take on Nuggets-style garage rock deconstructed with paint-peeling levels of distortion and bad vibes feels strikingly relevant and vital nearly 40 years on from when the band first started. Don't miss the Cheater Slicks on their brief east coast tour starting June 26 in Philadelphia. But if you do, WFMU has you covered.
